The weather in the site of the Andes is unpredictable, because of the geography which creates many altitudinal zones that each one has a different climates, temperature, etc. and Machu Picchu is affected for this reason and also is located between two zones, Peruvian Yungas*and wet Puna* of the central Andes.
The best time to visit this citadel is in the wet season (April – October), but for people who likes the sun and some sporadic rains the best time is November to March.
We recommend traveling in the follow months April, May, September and October which the season is still dry. Check your schedule according to the high season to book your trio with anticipation.
