DAY 1 CUSCO/PISCACUCHO

8:00 hs. We will travel to Piscacucho (K.m.82 of the railroad that goes towards Machupicchu).
In Piscacucho, we will initiate the first day of trek, following the left way of the river Urubamba, in descending sense, following the Cusichaca valley, looking the beautiful fields, mountains and forest around, then we will the Chamana’s community, we will ascend until finds the traditional Inca Trail, which one we will continue for a brief span, up to there coming to WILLKARAQAY, archaeological strategic site in the valley of the Cusichaca, where we will get lunch.
At 13.00. Resumed the walk and pass by Tarachayoc, Wayllabamba, Pata Wasi, continuing the trek to 16.00 pm. That we will PAUKAR CANCHA, a group of temples that we visit and then start our way back to reach at 18.30 pm. Sanctuary Garden camp, waiting there for dinner, board games and / or fire and overnight. (L,D)

DAY 2 TORONTOY / QORIWAYRACHINA

To go on with the trekking we will cross the bridge following the right bank of the Urubamba River and continue downstream to Torontoy, archaeological site, featuring for having unique carved buildings whose main attraction is the presence of a huge stone with 54 angles that finely joined 28 other stones make up a wall with windows. After delighting in the beauty of the ruins and the view, return to the camp.
Continuing our voyage, we will cross the river for a suspension bridge until come to QORIWAYRACHINA’s archaeological monument after to walk in this place and appreciate its magnificent architecture, which one we will continue to a splendid viewing-point, then we will go to LLAQTAPATA, known also with Qentemarka’s name, majestic archaeological site with more of 100 unique buildings, here we can see the temple of Pulpituyoc.
Then we will return to Sanctuary Garden’s camp, for dinner, board games and / or fire and overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 3 WAYNA Q’ENTE / AGUAS CALIENTES

8.00 am. After breakfast, we headed north again, crossing the bridge of Cusichaca and ascend through the forest until arriving at 11.00 am to Wayna Q’ente, an religious center and agricultural experimentation, we see a panorama of the valley and go down to the terraces of Crescent, where lunch.
After resting a few moments until 14.00hs we will continue upstream to cross once more and the left and heading south pass through Wayrac Punku Pinchaunuyoc, Salapunku Q’anabamba and will arrive at 17.00 pm. to Piscacucho, where the trek concludes.
18:00 hrs. We will go to Ollantaytambo.
21.00 hs. We will depart to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night. Overnight at selected accommodation (B,L)

DAY 4 WAYNA PICCHU / INTIPUNKU & MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO

Around five in the morning we are going to ascent with direction to the Historic sanctuary MACHU PICCHU; and immediately we start to explore the giant Inca’s citadel in a average time of two and two and a half hours approximately; we are going to visit with our guide: The Main square, INTIHUATANA, THE MORTERO’S ROOM, THE THREE WINDOWS TEMPLE, THE CONDOR’S TEMPLE and many important points in Machu Picchu; after we go to:

WAYNAPICCHU: The picturesque mountain backdrop shown in the classic photographs, the full path will take us an average of four hours the same order to explore constructions located on the top of Wayna Picchu and follow the path towards a place called Temple of the Moon AND / OR GREAT CAVE, which at the sacrifice of walking we will be well rewarded. When we return if we have physical strength necessary to continue our walk we will go to:

INTIPUNKU: Known like Sun’s door that taking the opposite direction of arrival of the Inca Trail can climb an average of one hour to explore the qualities of the place and finally back in the direction of Aguas Calientes.
Then according to our scheduled train return to Cusco, in the station will be waiting for us our transport to return to Hotel or lodging. (B,L)

Cost: US$30 per person for the 3 days/2 nights trek. Weight 2.5 kg and are rated to 12 degrees below freezing (nice and warm even during the coldest of nights experienced on the Inca Trail).
