Q’ENQO.–
located in the Sacred Valley, 6 km. the city of Cusco (5 min. to the northeast of Cusco) It Consists of two places: el grande, who is at the foot of the way from Sacsayhuaman to Pisac, and Chico, 350 meters Which is west of the Above, on the hillside. The Inca Empire WAS another center dedicated to the rite and special interest is semi-circular amphitheater with underground galleries.
No one knows the original name of This shrine, the Spanish conquistadors Gave the name of Qu `ENKO, the Quechua word meaning” maze “for the underground galleries in a maze and small channels carved in the rocks in the zigzag form.
This monument WAS described as an amphitheater, it has a semicircular construction.
