In Lima you will enjoy and learn about its historical center with beautiful colonial constructions declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO, the best museums, and archaeological sites highlighting Caral, Pachacamac and a variety of cultural shows, folk, entertainment centers and enjoy the renowned cuisine. Lima is an ideal place for those who like adventure sports as surfing, paragliding, fishing, cycling, trekking, etc.

To the north is Trujillo where you can visit the Chan Chan citadel, this urban center is the largest Pre-Hispanic adobe city of pre-Hispanic America, the Temples of the Sun and the Moon, the Mochica route, here the tourist can experience the ancient Mochica traditions that endure to this day, also you are able to taste its excellent cooking, enjoy its beaches, its folklore. Another destination also in the north is Chiclayo, capital of the department of Lambayeque, is known as the "Capital of friendship" for the kindness and warmth of its people. Here you can visit the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum, where you will apreciate the Sipan Tombs; the museum has more than two thousand pieces of gold.

In the highlands you will find a beautiful place, Huaraz, this magic destination offers the Callejon de Huaylas, here you will be able to practice adventure sports and also be in contact with the nature and de impressive landscapes. Also you can apreciate the Llanganuco lagoon, Chavin de Huantar, the Huascaran National Park.

In the jungle you can visit Puerto Maldonado, here are the spectacular Manu National Park, Tambopata National Reserve and Bahuaja Sonene, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy this magical place with its nature, the diversity of flora and fauna. Also taste its famous gastronomy and foklore. Also Iquitos offers different landscapes as Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, the largest of Peru and the Amazon, this region is full of flora and fauna, you can stay in lodges which are inside the jungle.

Also the tourists complement their tours with a gastronomy tour. Peruvian cuisine has begun to spread beyond its borders. At the Fourth International Summit of Gastronomy Madrid Fusion 2006, held from 17 to 19 January 2006, the city of Lima was declared the gastronomic capital of Latin America. Peru has a great variety and diversity of typical dishes; the most representative dishes are the cebiche, on the coast, the pachamanca in the mountains and in the jungle, juane.

Also the festivities attracts many tourists, for example the festivity of Virgen de la Candelaria in Puno, which is celebrate in February, the Murhuay Lord, in Junin, performed in May, in June are the San Juan Festivity, which is celebrate in the rainforest, the famous Inti Raymi in Cuzco.
