Description
All the month Cusco Cusco Jubilee Feast. Cultural, artistic and recreative activities are carried out in homage to the Imperial city. The medicinal hot-spring waters of Aguas Calientes are in the outskirts of the location, near Machu Picchu, as well as the Conac hot-spring waters (109 kms far).

Cusco

International Festival of the "Cusqueña" beer. Celebrated with all types of music, such as rock, salsa, Peruvian ballades, etc.

1st week Huancavelica Holy Ghost Feast. Feast purely of manners held in the four city districts, stand out the popular dances and the bullfights livened up with vernacular music.
1st Ancash Callejón de Huaylas. Mountain climbing week: rock climbing, para-gliding, rafting, kayak and adventure sports competence.

Cusco

Feast of the Lord of "Qoyllurriti". By the Ausangate snow-caped mountain slope (6,362 m above sea level) thousands of pilgrims climb the mountain. The men "Q'eros" and the pilgrims carry huge ice blocks to their lands.

Cusco

Corpus Christi. Is one of the most beautiful religious folk demonstrations. It must set off the "Entrada de los Santos" (Saint's Entrance) and the Consecrated Host procession. Folk bands and dancers display.

Raqchi Festival. Great display of regional dance groups. Agricultural and cattle-raising Fair, typical food conquest. Tupac Amaru a great America martyr, was imprisoned and killed in the Tinta district (1780).

21 to 27 Loreto Iquitos Tourist week. FICA Song Festival. Torch and allegoric cars' parade. Handicraft exhibition, Folk Festival. Queen's election, exotic food. International Amazonia's Song Festival with the participation of foreign singers.

Moyobamba Tourist Week. Queen's election, allegoric cars' parade, handicraft and tourist fair. Sight seeing tours to the Jera falls and the El Sauce Lagoon as well as hot-spring waters in the surroundings.

24 Puno Regional Folk Contest of Autochtonic Dances. Almost fifty dancer groups participate in this event. These groups come from provinces and distant towns. Puno is known as the "Folklorical Capital of Peru".
24 Provinces of the Jungle Feast of San Juan. Celebration, dances and typical food. Groups of families organize picnics and dance at the shores of rivers and lagoons.
29 La Libertad Feast of San Pedro. This holiday is celebrated in Huanchaco and San Pedro de Lloc, with picturesque processions in the sea in the embarkations known as " Caballitos de Totora".

Puno

Feast of San Pedro is held right in front of the Church of San Pedro de Zepita, which is a masterpiece of Puno colonial architecture and  the magnificent view of the Titicaca Lake and the Uros can be enjoyed.

Last Sunday Cusco Ollantay Rayni - Ollantaytambo. The entrance of the Inca fortress is the scenery of the Ollantay Inca drama, which is staging of the love of the General Ollanta for the Kusicoillur princess.

La Libertad Sea Festival. In Huanchaco and Malabrigo there are surfing competences that gather famous international sports men and women to pay homage to the ancient Mochicas Chimu, who used to practice this sport in their embarkations known as "Caballitos de Totora".
