The Inca trail it is well known as the most famous trekking route of South America. During this journey the travelers will experiment lively all the adventurous and will be in contact with the beauty of its nature, the classic trek takes 4 days/ 3 nights which part from the kilometer 82 of Ollantaytambo, comprising a 23 km path approx, where along the road you can find different ecoregions with a varied climate and unforgettable landscapes, with the purpose of finally get to Machu Picchu the lost city of the Incas.
The best months for visit Machu Picchu are from April to October. Although it is possible to do this walk most of the year, the best time for the Inca trail is from April to August. However it is established that in February will be close due to the rainy season and also in order to conserve it with period of maintenance and recovery.
