DAY 1 CUSCO
Upon arrival at Cusco airport you will be met and driven to Hotel, where you
are advised to
rest for a while to acclimatize to the altitude. Around 1:45pm Cusco city
tour. This tour includes
the major sites of historical interest in Cuzco, such as the famous Inca
fort at Sacsahuaman,
and the temple of the Sun. Also included in this is a tourist card, giving
you access to all the
sites in the Cuzco area as a whole (i.e., including outside of the City
itself). This tour finishes at 18:00, overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast in the hotel
At 5:30am you will leave the Hotel to the station to take the 6:00 am train.
Travel is in
"Vistadome" Class (formerly "Autowagon"). At 9:40 a.m., you will arrive at
the Aguas Calientes Station, from where you take a 25 minute bus ride to the
ruins of Machu Picchu. Once there, you will have a guided tour, with an
English speaking professional guide. The ruins are on the eastern slope of
Machu Picchu in two separate arcas: the agricultural and the urban. Lunch at
Aguas Calientes Town(Totos’s or Indio Feliz’s Restaurant (included).
Overnight at the Inti Inn Hotel or
Similar.
DAY 03: AGUAS CALIENTES-CUSCO
Breakfast in the Hotel. Leisure time.In the afternoon return to Cusco (The
train will leaves at
15:30 hrs. approx and arrives in Cuzco at 19:40 hrs. approx.) and transfer
fro the train station
to the Hotel. Overnight at the Casa Andina Hotel or similar.
DAY 4 TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport
End our services.
INCLUDES: Booking at the Casa Andina Hotel and Inti Inn Hotel or
similar. All scheduled land transportation. All transfers. All scheduled
excursions with English-speaking professional guide services. All entrance
fees and Meals as specified in the itinerary.
