This picturesque village
located on the banks of the Argentine Lake, conforms the tourist center of
greater hierarchy of Santa Cruz. Reclined over the slopes that surround it, it
has a very benign microclimate that makes it an oasis. The Calafate stream, that
divides the village in two, is a place of tranquility with its rocky bed
surrounded by willows reclined in its banks. It is the nearby city to visit the
National Park the Glaciers and its famous Perito Moreno Glacier, declared
Natural Patrimony of the Humanity by the UNESCO.
Day 1: Arrival and
transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
Day 2: :El Calafate.
Breakfast. Full day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier, declared World-wide
Patrimony by UNESCO. This enormous ice mass, is one the few glaciers, that are
in movement, covering an extension of 4kms over waters of the Argentine Lake,
often causing enormous loosenings of ice blocks. Tourist lunch including. After
the lunch, nautical safari, in rubber boats, to appreciate the fauna and flora
of the region. Return to the Calafate. Lodging.
Day 3 :Breakfast.
. Day off for personal
activities.
Day 4: Breakfast.
At appropriate hour Transfer to
airport.

Pick up from the Hotel.
Departure from Bahia Tranquila pier at Punta Bandera to sail along the north arm
of Lago Argentino to Upsala Glacier, sailing along its front side for
approximately 30 minutes, and later going on to Onelli Bay where we'll remain
for 3 hours to walk through the woods to the lagoon, observing the Onelli;
Bolado and Agazzi Glaciers, free time for lunch.
