Holy week, procession and festivities.

Ayacucho

Celebrations start on Palm Sunday, dramatizing Christ's Passion. All the people participate in the processions. There is a handicraft fair at the Acuchimay Mountain, with the participation of the handicraftsmen of the location. The people dance and sing all night to receive Easter Sunday; simultaneously, there are bullfights and horse races.

Cusco Holy Week. On Moundy Thursday there is the famous "Señor de los Temblores" procession, Patron of Cusco, and on Good Friday there is the sensational procession of the Holy Sepulchral. During the seven festivity days one can taste a large variety of typical foods.

Junin Holy Week Huancayo. Religious activities are carried out, handicraft and agricultural fairs with delicious food and typical drinks.

Junin Tarma. During the Holy Week all the people in town participate in making beautiful flowers' carpets used in the processions.

Piura Holy Week. The Last Supper is dramatized at the Cathedral portico. There is a handicraft fair with the participation of the handicraftsmen of all North Zone. On Easter Sunday begins a great dance in the Plaza de Armas of the city.

Lima National contest of "Caballos de Paso" Peruvian Stepping horse. Great show and conquest of the Stepping horse in various categories with the participation of horse breeders from the main regions of the country.
25 Junin Spanish Foundation of Jauja, the first  capital of Peru. The Paca Lagoon can be visited.
26 to May 2 Apurimac

Anniversary of the Apurimac Political creation. The Inca monolite can be admire in Sayhuite as well as one of the oldest bridges of Peru, the Pachachaca.

30 to May 3 La Libertad The Sea Festival - Huanchaco.
